Chapter-by-Chapter: Strawberry Girl

"Strawberry Girl" by Lois Lenski, book cover

See the Florida frontier through the eyes of a pioneer kid! Our curator brings the backwoods to life in chapter-by-chapter video readings of Strawberry Girl by Lois Lenski (with permission of Harper Collins Children’s Books). The author made a point to record the “flavorsome speech” of the Florida cracker, so it is especially fun to follow along in the book while our curator reads in different accents!
